La Clinique de santé de Gatineau, formerly known as the Clinique de santé Michel Morissette is a true institution in the Outaouais and the Ottawa region for acupuncture and complementary health care. It was founded in 1992 by a former pharmacist who was dissatisfied with the limitations, adverse effects and risks of several chemical drugs. His research led him to discover traditional natural medicines not taught in most western universities. He thus studied Chinese medicine, including acupuncture and herbology, for more than 3 years.
